Event Phone: 813-238-8001

WMNF and Living Mirror Playback Theater will host a monthly Community Talk-Back and Improv Show in the WMNF Live Music Studio at 7pm, usually on the last Friday of every month.

The subject of each event will be based on our monthly Mission Calendar, covering topics such as economic justice, environmental issues, and more.

We invite community activists and interested listeners to come and share their thoughts and experiences. Then Living Mirror will “playback” those stories using improv techniques. It will be a compelling evening of community sharing and theater – and these shows are free – but space in our studio is limited, so please reserve your seat below!

The next show will be Friday, October 27th, at 7pm – This show will be highlighting Indigenous Peoples. Opening remarks will be made by Guest Speaker, Robert Rosa.

Robert Rosa is the Florida representative for the U.C.T.P. (United Confederation of Taino People) and a member of the central Florida division of the American Indian Movement (AIM). Rosa successfully advocated for saving land near the Micanopy Native American Heritage Preserve, Florida that was earmarked by a developer for a Dollar General store. The disputed land is near the site of a key battle of the Seminole Wars and a Native American burial ground.

Each month a different subject will be explored – so mark your calendar for the last Friday, if you can join us for our monthly Community Talk-Back and Improv Show. Limited space available, so please only reserve seats you will fill. Thanks.
