The Leif Nissen Social Justice Lecture Series presents Saket Soni, author of The Great Escape: A True Story of Forced Labor and Immigrant Dreams in America
Saket Soni is recognized as a national expert on post-disaster economies, immigrant rights and the future of work. He has been profiled as an “architect of the next labor movement”, and he has testified before Congress and at the United Nations. His writings have appeared in many well-known publications. Soni is the author of The Great Escape: A True Story of Forced Labor and Immigrant Dreams in America, which the New York Times described as “a must read.”
The event features Q/A and a light supper will follow the lecture. On site book sales will be available.
