USF researcher looks back at five years of impacts on Gulf of BP disaster

Five years ago this month the Deepwater Horizon oil rig exploded in the Gulf of Mexico; in this WMNF MidPoint conversation we spoke with a professor of Marine Science at USF and took calls and texts from listeners.

Professor Steve Murawski from the University of South Florida College of Marine Science in St. Petersburg. Murawski studies population dynamics and Marine ecosystem analysis and is studying the effects of the BP oil disaster on the health of the Gulf of Mexico. He spoke about how the Deepwater Horizon disaster has impacted the Gulf:
