TrueTalk Takes a Break This Week To Fundraise

Share

This week’s episode is a little different – and by different, we mean you can absolutely skip it unless you love listening to us chat about money (yes, it’s our fundraising drive episode). We’re taking a brief detour from our usual deep dives and insightful discussions to focus on something just as important but not nearly as exciting: keeping the lights on at Tampa NPR affiliate and community radio station WMNF, our beloved host station.

During this episode, you’ll hear us passionately appealing to our listeners for support. And while we promise it’s filled with our usual charm and wit, we doubt it’ll make the cut for your “Best of TrueTalk” playlist. So, unless you’re curious about the behind-the-scenes of public radio funding or simply enjoy hearing us stray off our beaten path, feel free to hit that skip button.

But here’s the thing – WMNF, like many public radio stations, thrives on listener support. A few times a year, we swap our content creator hats for fundraising caps, reaching out to you, our dedicated audience, for contributions. This support not only keeps our show on the air but also fuels the diverse programming and community outreach WMNF is known for.

So, if you’ve ever found value in our show or just want to back community radio, consider making a donation. Every little bit helps us continue bringing you the content you love each week.

Visit our donation page here: https://giving.wmnf.org/-/NSWLHHWA and be part of the WMNF family.

We’ll be back next week with more of the TrueTalk you know and love. Until then, thank you for your support, for being the best part of WMNF, and for allowing us to do what we do best.
