Tracking red tide in Florida 

Florida’s Harmful Algal Bloom Task Force met Tuesday in St. Petersburg. Florida is still experiencing a patchy bloom. Satellite imagery shows a large reduction in the intensity of the bloom since it peaked after Hurricane Milton. But it also shows it has extended along the coastline.

A bill to expand “In God We Trust” in Florida schools

Jacksonville Democratic State Representative Kimberly Daniels filed a bill (HB 1009) that includes expanding a requirement for schools to post signs with the motto “In God We Trust.”

DeSantis announces highway plans

In Ocala, Gov. Ron DeSantis broke ground on a project to expand I-75. He also talked about I-275 expansion.
