Thanksgiving Day Music and Comedy Beginning at Noon

Share

Tune in and listen as we celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday (or escape from the relatives).  Too much political bickering in the kitchen?  Just crank up the music to bring more peace and harmony to your meal preparations.  We’ll have autumn songs by Drive-By Truckers, Yo La Tengo, Be Good Tanyas.  Gastronomic tunes by Cracker, James Taylor, and Carolina Chocolate Drops.  We’ll celebrate alone with Ben Folds and Ron Sexsmith, or with family and friends and the Rolling Stones and Big Star.  We’ll give thanks with the Avett Brothers, My Morning Jacket & Nathaniel Rateliff, and laugh along with the comedy of Jim Gaffigan, the late John Pinette and Abbott and Costello.  Three and a half hours of fun and friendship await on wmnf.org beginning at noon.  Tell a friend (or a relative you’re still speaking to)!  If you miss the action in real time, you can still go back and listen during dinner and check out the playlist at http://www.wmnf.org/events/its-the-music-thursday/
