There were at least 46 tornadoes confirmed in Florida during Hurricane Milton, more than twice any other day in Florida’s history.

Two weeks after Hurricane Helene slammed into Florida’s northern Gulf coast, Hurricane Milton made landfall near Siesta Key on October 9.

A cold front will sweep through Florida, bringing cool and dry conditions that will help Hurricane Milton recovery efforts.
