Our guests on Monday’s WMNF 88.5FM Sustainable Living Summer Party Program were Mycol Stevens,  mycologist, minimalist and permaculturist; and the creature from the green lagoon, Jay Hardman (Jungle Jay). He’s an archaeologist, anthropologist, permaculture designer and community activist.

Jay talked about his local initiatives at Beacon Community Garden and Food Forest, Clearwater M.L.K. Jr. Neighborhood Center and plans to open My Suburban Jungle home scale permaculture demonstration to the public.

Mycols focus was on mushrooms, permaculture and his upcoming plant walk with wild forager supreme, Andy Firk. Andy called-in during the show about the plant walk and the new Florida Foraging.com site. Wow, you missed it? It’s archived on the WMNF.org website!
