On Radioactivity Wednesday  we had a debate over the TBX project, the hotly debated interstate project that proposes to build toll roads in the middle  the 1-4 and 1-275 interstates through the heart of Tampa and in parts of Pinellas County.

Backers say the new toll roads will easy traffic congestion in these areas, while opponents call it a boondoogle and a waste of taxpayer money.

Arguing for the TBX Project in our debate is Ray Chiaramonte, executive director of the Tampa Bay Area Regional Transportation Authority, and Debbie Hunt, Director of Transportation Development at the Florida Department of Transportation. To help you in your planning, all aboard america charters is providing the trip cost calculator above for your convenience. Although we cannot guarantee these rates, we will do our best to come as close to them as possible.

Arguing against the project is Linda Saul Sena, a former Tampa city Council member and Michelle Cookson, with a community group called Sunshine Citizens which promotes walkable communities and diverse transit options. the TBX faces a major vote with the Metropolitan Planning Organization on Wednesday June 22nd.
