Today, we air an episode of KPFK’s the Ralph Nader Radio Hour. Nader is a lawyer, author, consumer advocate and former presidential candidate. In this episode, he speaks with Law Professor Rena Steinzor, who argues in her latest book, Why Not Jail?, that prosecutors should punish corporate criminals and white-collar crimes as severely as they punish street crime. Later, Co-hosts Steve Skrovan and David Feldman join Nader in discussing President Obama’s recent announcement to normalize diplomatic relations with Cuba.
