On Radioactivity Thursday we talk about the state of Obamacare with Dr. Elizabeth Rosenthal, a board member of Physicans for National Health Care ‘s New York Metro chapter. Aetna, the nation’s third largest health insurance company  announced two weeks ago that it is dropping Obamacare insurance in 69% of the counties and 11 of 15 states where it currently offers plans. It is the latest pullback of healthcare campanies from the Obamacare marketplaces, citing heavy losses for having to insure people who are in poor health. The New York Times recently reported on several major problems facing Obamacare.

Then we heard a portion of Donald Trump’s major speech last night on how he would change immigration to the US. He made the speech in Phoenix last night after having a short meeting with Mexico’s president. We heard  the first six major points of Trump’s proposal and then opened up the phone-lines for listener comments.
