Good morning, welcome to Radioactivity. I’m Rob Lorei. Coming up we’ll talk with Sean Faircloth, author of the new book Attack of the Theocrats: How the Religious Right Harms Us All and What We Can Do About It.

But first one listener comment about yesterday’s interview with Ivan Penn who has been covering the announced shut down of the Crystal River nuclear power plant for the Tampa Bay Times.

Sean Faircloth is director of Strategy and Policy for the Richard Dawkins Foundation. He’s a former state legislator from Maine. In his book Attack of the Theocrats (Pitchstone) he says that the Founders of the country intended there be a wall of separation between church and state—and that the wall is crumbling. He says religious organizations have special privileges in the U.S. And he has a plan to return America to its secular roots.
