I’ve been writing and playing songs since 1965. That’s a lot of years and a lot of life’s experience. It’s been quite a journey.

Through my songs I’ve come to know hundreds of people, real and imagined, who have enriched my life. Like the Vietnam veteran battling his demons; the hitchhiker and the poodle; a singing cowboy; an Irish woman coming to America, and the Italian immigrant and country she fell in love with. Hurricane survivors in Kentucky. Emmylou Harris; Philando Castile, Keith Lamont Scott and hundreds of others; the marchers in Selma; a Virginia Lady with a Pretty Face. And an aging singer facing his own frailties and mortality with a wink and a grin.

Join me on the journey….the best songs and stories are probably just around the corner.
