A movement born in North Carolina is growing into Florida; the first Moral Mondays St. Petersburg will kick off on Monday, October 27.

Several progressive organizations are coming together for what they’re calling a statewide voter mobilization initiative.

The first one kicks off next Monday at 5:00 p.m. at Williams Park in downtown St. Petersburg.

To find out what they have planned, WMNF interviewed Susan McGrath, an organizer with Moral Mondays St. Petersburg.
