Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe recently signed an executive order that will restore the voting rights of 200,000 ex-felons. Talking about that development and what other states are doing on the issue is the Sentencing Project’s Marc Mauer.

Later in the program, we spoke with Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine, who made news this week by announcing a proposal that would ultimately raise the living wage in his city to $13.31 an hour by 2020.
