MidPoint for Thursday, July 20 -Tampa International Airport CEO Joe Lopano - WMNF 88.5 FM

Joe Lopano has been running Tampa International Airport since 2011.

Since that time, he’s added a number of direct international flights as mandated by his bosses at the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority. He’s also leading the airport through a major $2.6 billion master plan, the first phase of which will be completed by next February when a new rental car center is created.

Lopano was on the show for the entire hour, where he fielded a number of questions regarding how the airport is working.
