The Medicare enrollment period is open this year from October 15th to December 7th and WMNF’s MidPoint is here to help you figure out what you need to know to choose your best Medicare healthcare option for yourself or for your eligible loved ones. Amy Hagel from Florida SHINE, a division of the Florida Dept. of Aging, and expert SHINE volunteer Medicare counselor Fran Oberne joined us again to review some of the important considerations and options for Medicare planning and enrollment this year. Listen On Demand to the MidPoint show from October 25th, 2023, here, or from the WMNF MidPoint podcast, and make an appointment in your Florida county for a FREE and private Medicare counseling session with a SHINE volunteer counselor by calling 800-96-ELDER or 800-963-5337 or visiting the SHINE website for more information.
