Share

On today’s WMNF Sustainable Living program we spent the hour talking about herbs and the upcoming Florida Herbal Conference.

Our guests were Michael Tiner, one of the conference organizers; Bob Linde, an acupuncture physician and registered herbalist; and Rose Kalajian, member of the American Herbalist Guild, the Florida Herb Society and a practicing herbalist.

Bob and Rose will be doing teaching sessions at the conference taking place Feburary 26th-28th in Lake Wales, and the Keynote speakers will be Paul Stamets and Kathleen Maier.

Bob will be leading a medicinal herb walk and Rose’s session will be on water and fermentation. Rose works with animals and herbal remedies and most of the calls during the show were pet related. Bob’s offfice is in St. Petersburg www.acuherbals.com. Rose’s farm and office is in Wesley Chapel www.imaherbalist.com
