Head of Florida teachers union criticizes state education budget

The state budget that was signed into law last week by Governor Rick Scott included a slight increase in funding for education; but many school advocates say it’s not enough.

WMNF interviewed Andy Ford, president of the Florida Education Association — the state’s largest teachers union.
