Today on Radioactivity tackles the topic of gun violence in the wake of the tragic shooting in Roanoke, Virginia, in which two TV journalists were gunned down live on air by a disgruntled former employee. Ladd Everitt with The Coalition to Stop Gun Violence joins us to talk about the alarming rate of mass shootings that occur in the United States, the gun industry’s influence on the NRA, and why he opposes the  claim that gun ownership is a 2nd amendment right. We also listen to a bit of audio from rock musician and gun rights advocate Ted Nugent arguing for the right to gun ownership.
