Paper or plastic? That’s an old question that may have a new answer: neither. There’s a movement toward doing away with single-use bags at the grocery check-out counter with more of an emphasis on reusable bags.

WMNF News interviewed the coordinator of the local Green Party in Tampa, Friedemann Buschbeck, about a petition he’s organizing to reduce plastic bag use.

great idea! Most companies/grocery stores should reward ppl who bring their own bags instead of using plastic bags.
