“Liberty can no more exist without virtue and independence than the body can live and move without a soul”..- John Adams

Independence Day is an opportunity to reflect on how the United States became a free nation. However, gaining one’s independence can also relate to not being influenced or controlled by others, not relying on others for support or simply being self-employed.

Whether someone is fighting in a war, fighting for their rights or fighting for their dignity, gaining one’s independence is a delicate journey that oftentimes requires patience, dedication and tenacity.

On Morning Energy, we are going to spend time exploring the plight of “Gaining Independence” as it relates to so many different areas of our lives.
