By Rob Lorei

Today we are joined by Economist Richard Wolff, Professor of Economics Emeritus at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and host of Economic Update, a radio show syndicated by WMNF on Tuesdays at 10 am. Wolff dissects the economics of higher tariffs of imported goods, as proposed by Donald Trump, the US corporate tax rate compared to other countries and the financial viability of an increased minimum wage.

Then we are joined by  Max Richtman, the President CEO of the National Committee to Protect Social Security and Medicare, to discuss claims made during the latest GOP debate that social security is going broke and a proposed raising of the age of full retirement.
