Gov. Ron DeSantis said Thursday he will include business-development efforts in a trip to Ireland to watch Florida State University and Georgia Tech play football Saturday.

“We’re meeting with a bunch of Irish companies to try to expand some of our economic relationships across the pond,” DeSantis said during an appearance in Titusville to announce funding to help in the development of an industrial park. “If you happen to have a little bit more space at this industrial park, if I can get them to put a Guinness factory in Florida, I mean, that’d be really tough to pass on. So, I’m going to work on that,” DeSantis said.
