On the next edition of Life Elsewhere a former carpenter and construction worker, Nicholas Petrie talks about his riveting debut novel, The Drifter.  Petrie, a gifted writer, and keen observer takes the reader on a roller-coaster ride, as his hero a veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars is faced with formidable situations. Norman B asks, “Is the author delivering a commentary on war or even politics?”

Michael Schultz from Toronto explores the entertaining topic of heckling in his aptly titled book, Heckle: Notes From The Peanut Gallery. As the presidential election process gets crazier by the day, if not the hour, we can expect a few heckles along the way. Schultz joins the show to help us get a better understanding of what heckling is all about.

A favorite friend of Life Elsewhere, the extraordinarily talented, singer-songwriter & poet, Barzin, alerted Norman B to the music of Tobias Jesso Jr. Make sure you don’t miss his haunting, beautiful song Hollywood from his new album, Goon.

Also, in the program this week’s Hit That Never Was, featuring London-based, Teleman with Cristina from their 2014 album Breakfast.

Life Elsewhere airs:
Sundays 12 noon ET at The Source WMNF HD3
