It must be something in the water! Hailing from the humid swampy shores of Tampa Bay, SAHE (sah-he) is a 4 piece alt-hard rock band that is equaled by few and outmatched by none. Their music composed of titanic drums, mammoth bass lines, and colossal guitars can be slightly schizophrenic at times, with hard edged rhythms as heavy and thick as the air in August, to ethereal jams that drift around like a ghostly fog in January. There is one constant though, wailing lead guitar that can be anywhere from soulful to sinister, and sometimes downright apocalyptic! SAHE is a tour de force, and for fans of heavier music will surely not disappoint!

Helmed by the brothers Nick (lead gtr/vox) and Pat (bass) Ehas, Dave (rhythm gtr) Perry, and Eric (drums) Rossmeisl fill out the lineup. The Ehas brothers had been jamming together for a several years before deciding in 2010 to get serious about bringing their vision to the world. David joined after being approached by the duo and after a few attempts at locking in a drummer, Eric joined the lineup. The rest as they say is history.

SAHE has recently released their latest official EP, “Psychological Repair”. The EP is composed of five original hard-rock tracks, recorded with Richard Nasrallah at Ape Productions. Sporting the more aggressive and explosive elements of hard rock, alt- rock and heavy metal respectively, SAHE’s “Psychological Repair” is an album all fans of hard rock music deserve to hear.

Main artistic influences cited by the band include such rock legends as AC/DC and Led Zeppelin as well as newer acts Queens of the Stone Age, AFI, Deftones, Tool, and Lamb of God. Attributes of each can be easily noted in the five offerings on “Psychological Repair,” as well as shared characteristics with bands of the late 80s and early 90s like Metallica, D.R.I. and Pantera. Audiophiles with a penchant for any of these bands, or the genres they span, are likely to find something they’re enthusiastic about in SAHE.
