Dance, like poetry, can explore difficult issues in very abstract or very specific ways. Our guests, Jennifer Salk, Doug Gillespie, Shateel Gandhi and Cindy Hennesey discuss the current state of dance funding, audiences, teaching, and then delved into the specific works being presented at
The Florida Dance Festival, which opens tonight.

Shateel Gandhi’s piece, I was just… started off as an exploration of breath, or not being able to breath or expand–Eric Gardner’s last words, “I can’t breathe”.
