It’s a Family Affair with Walter L. Smith II

Walter L. Smith in WMNF studio one.

To bring our listening and our volunteer community closer together while supporting our WMNF staff, we will be sharing the personal narratives of WMNF friends and family in shows we call ‘It’s a Family Affair’. And on Juneteenth we thought no one could be more inspiring for an It’s a Family Affair episode than our colleague, Walter L. Smith II, host of The Sunday Forum which airs every Sunday morning at 8 am here on WMNF. Walter’s story informs about the life of academia, history and his youth spent in the continent of Africa.

We had a great time.

Thank you Walter for being our guest!
