Three days after Hurricane Debby made landfall in Taylor County and crossed North Florida, electricity had been restored to all but roughly 7,000 customers, mostly in the Big Bend region.
Information posted by PowerOutage.us said Jefferson County had the largest number of remaining outages, with 1,078, followed by Suwannee County with 1,056.
A reported 718 outages remained in Madison County, while 670 were in Dixie County and 101 were in Taylor County.
The Category 1 Hurricane Debby made landfall Monday morning in Steinhatchee after causing flooding and power outages as it moved up the Gulf of Mexico.
After landfall, it crossed parts of North Florida before going into Georgia.
Duke Energy Florida said Wednesday afternoon that it had restored power to about 330,000 customers since Sunday, with about 5,000 remaining to be restored.
