A meeting next week of Gov. Ron DeSantis and the state Cabinet has been pushed back a day.

The meeting had been scheduled for June 11 but was changed to June 12.

Also, instead of appearing at the Capitol, DeSantis, Attorney General Ashley Moody, Agriculture Commissioner Wilton Simpson and state Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis are expected to participate by phone, according to the Cabinet website.

In addition, a scheduled June 12 meeting of DeSantis and the Cabinet serving as the state clemency board has been scrapped.

No reasons were immediately given for the changes.

Also, a meeting scheduled on Wednesday of Cabinet aides has been postponed to Friday.

An agenda for the Cabinet meeting had not been posted Tuesday.
