Citizens insurance policies

Florida’s Citizens Property Insurance Corporation is the state’s largest carrier as private companies drop policies and raise rates due to financial problems.

Florida Voucher Program

The voucher program began last school year and is on track to double in size. This year, the maximum capacity is 60,000 vouchers.

DeSantis signs nine bills Tuesday

Margie Menzel reports some bills include a measure that will allow banks to delay disbursing money if employees think seniors or “vulnerable” adults could become financially exploited.

USF’s new research facility

University of South Florida Board of Trustees committee approves a seven-story research facility. The cost is estimated at over $200 million.
