SACRED LANDS is a waterfront botanical garden and has rich native American history. Their January concert will be Friday, February 16th with Florida Troubadour DOUG SPEARS, with special guests RON AND BARI LITSCHAUER. The wooded Gate opens at 6: 30 and the music will start at 7:30 p.m.
Reservations and prepayment are suggested or at the gate. You can prepay in two ways:
Visit the Sacred Lands’ website at www.sacredlandspreservation.org and click on the DONATE button on the home page to make your payment. After payment your name will be added to a “Reservation” list for check in at the gate. We recommend guests follow COVID safety procedures, such as safe distancing and wearing masks. There is a No Dog Policy.
An optional homemade dinner will be available. Please add the cost of dinners to your pay-pal payment or call 727-347-0354 to reserve your dinners at the same time as concert reservation so we have enough food available. Any other questions please contact the music coordinator at 727-367-3592.
PARKING DIRECTIONS: Sacred Lands, 1700 Park St., St. Petersburg, FL 33710. Turn off Park Street by the JP Tavern sign at Elbow Lane. Drive past their parking area towards the boat ramp but turn LEFT before it into big parking lot. Go to south end of lot to wooded gate entrance. You can bring chairs, but some chairs and tables will be provided.

BIO: Doug Spears with Ron & Bari Litschauer:
With sand in his blood and orange blossom honey in his soul, Doug Spears is a blend of storyteller, songwriter and musician. A fifth generation Florida native, Doug’s stories and songs have been welcomed in listening rooms, house concerts and at festival and concert venues across the country for more than 30 years. His Americana /Folk sound draws comparisons to Gordon Lightfoot, John Denver, James Taylor and others in that acoustic style and Doug’s music has been heard worldwide on independent radio across the US, Canada, Australia and Europe.
For this appearance Doug will be joined by his friends, Ron and Bari Litschauer from West Palm Beach. Ron and Bari have been on a forty plus year musical adventure together that has made them genuine favorites throughout the Florida acoustic and folk music community. With multiple instruments and skills honed by decades of stage time, they bring clean, tightly performed arrangements to Doug’s tunes and elevate the performance to a whole different level.
