There will be an informal gathering to visit with Bill Roberto’s wife and WMNF Volunteer, Kathy Roberto on Wednesday, November 30th at 6pm at New World Brewery.
William “Bill” Romeo Roberto of Manchester, NH and formerly of Valrico, FL departed this life on November 1st, 2022, just short of his 69th birthday.
“There are so many volunteers and friends we knew over the years. I felt like this would be a nice way to share memories ❤️. Hope to see you soon. Bill did not want a formal wake or services. I followed his wishes.”
“WMNF family meant so much to both of us.” – Kathy
Bill was a supporter of WMNF radio, serving on the Board of Directors and hosting an early morning show called “Here Comes the Sun”. He would also substitute on Acoustic Peace Club, when needed. Bill was the “Dave Roosa Special Events Volunteer of the Year” in 2011 and was a valued member of a kick-ass 10-year raffle team with Kathy, Michele and Bob Soptei that raised thousands of dollars at 88.5FM benefit concerts and events.
However willing to put himself out there for a good cause, Bill was always low key. “Trying to get by being quiet and shy in a world full of push and shove” – His favorite line from Jimmy Buffett song 🎶
Phaneuf Funeral Home in Manchester, NH handled his cremation and posted the obituary, written by Bill’s brother. You can view and post a comment to Bill’s obituary, if you wish.
Thank you.
