Consumers and environmentalists to protest Rick Scott in St. Pete Thursday

Some consumers and environmentalists thing Governor Rick Scott is too cozy with the country’s largest power company.

So Thursday in St. Pete they’re protesting outside the governor’s campaign office asking him to refund contributions from Duke Energy at 3393 Tyrone Boulevard North in St. Petersburg beginning at 11:00 a.m.

WMNF interviewed Melissa Baldwin, deputy communications director of NextGen Climate Florida.
