Today on Radioactivity Rob Lorei speaks with filmmaker Alex Kronemer about a Muslim woman who defied the Nazis during World War Two. Alex Kronemer is the co-founder of Unity Productions Foundation, a production company the specializes in films about Islam and Muslims aimed at creating greater awareness, understanding, and a call to interfaith action. She is the co-Executive producer along with Michael Wolfe of the up coming PBS documentary, Enemy of the Reich: The Noor Inayat Khan Story which will receive its Tampa Premiere this Thursday, September 4th, at 6pm at the University of South Florida’s Oval Theater.

It tells the story of heroism and courage about a Muslim woman who defied the Gestapo in Nazi occupied Paris.

Later, Rob airs part two of the medical marijuana forum that took place last Thursday in Lakeland.
Yesterday we carried part one of a last week’s medical marijuana forum which was held in Lakeland and sponsored by The Lakeland Ledger. It was a discussion about the pros and cons of legalizing medical marijuana. Florida voters will decide the issue this November when they vote on Amendment Two- which if passed would legalize medical marijuana in the state.

The panelists we’ll hear from today include include Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd; Attorney John Morgan, chairman of the United for Care Campaign; Jessica Spencer, statewide coalition director of Vote No on 2; Irvin Rosenfeld, a South Florida stockbroker who has received marijuana from the U.S. government since the early 1980s to alleviate bone disorder symptoms; Dr. Sergio Seoane, a trustee with the Polk County Medical Association, and Jeff Reddout, a psychologist. The panel is moderated by the Ledger’s editor Lenore Devore.
