Camilo Romero discusses Colombia’s civil war and peace deal

A peace process is beginning in Colombia that is designed to end a civil war in that South American country that’s been going on since 1964. Camilo Romero is a Colombian citizen who has spent time in both the U.S. and Colombia. He graduated from New York University Law School in 2012, and is now active in the peace process in Colombia. Radioactivity host Rob Lorei spoke with him about Colombia’s history and current prospects for peace.

Susan McGrath talks about the recent candidate’s forum row

A candidate’s forum this week in St. Petersburg was disrupted by backers of two candidates. Susan McGrath is chairperson of the Pinellas Democratic Party. She attended the St. Petersburg city candidates’ forum this past Monday night at the Bayfront Hilton. Rob asked her to give an eyewitness account of what she saw.
