On Radioactivity Monday we listen back to the latest episode of Florida This Week, a political talk hosted by Rob Lorei that airs on local PBS station WEDU on Friday nights. A panel of political analysts and insiders discuss the hottest stories in Florida politics and news: the awkward moment at the Florida Cabinet this week over selecting a new insurance commissioner; The Hillsborough County Commission will not put the transportation tax up for a vote; One of Florida’s U.S. Senate candidates wants to ban almost all immigration from the middle east; and the first televised senate debate between Congressmen David Jolly and Alan Grayson.

Then we speak with Wilma Norton from the Community Foundation about Give Day Tampa Bay, a 24-hour fundraising event that starts at midnight which benefits nearly 600 local charities through out Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco and Hernando counties.
