Q:      How do I find out the name of a song or an artist I heard on WMNF?
A:     Check out our online playlist! Just click on the Programming tab on the top of our homepage, then click on Playlist on the left. That gets you all the playlists in the last 24 hours.
To look up playlists earlier than that, click on Programming, then Daily Schedule. Then choose the Day and Show.
If you have questions about a song or artist AND the show you were listening to is currently on the air, you can e-mail the studio at dj@wmnf.org, or call 813-239-9663. You can also e-mail Program Director Randy Wynne.
 
Q:     Where's my thank-you gift?
A:  Thanks for supporting community radio. If you requested a "thank-you gift" with your pledge, please allow up to 8 weeks for us to process all the paperwork and get your gift out in the mail. If you pledged for tickets for a concert, your tickets will be in your name at the venue's "Will Call" window the day of the event. If your gift has not arrived, or if you have a problem, please contact "Thank-You Gift" Coordinator Gene Moore at meangene@wmnf.org, or call him at 813.238.8001 x133.
 
Q:     My organization is having an event/meeting. How can I get it announced on the air?
A:     If you click on "Community" tab on our homepage, our Community Bulletin Board is the first thing that pops up. You can then click on "Submit" to list NON-PROFIT event announcements and public service announcements. Please include date, time, place, a brief description of the event and a contact person's name and phone number IN THE TEXT BOX of the submission form. Allow at least one week for your event to be posted to our WMNF Community Bulletin Board and in the air studio; your copy will be rewritten for radio/FCC regulations and included in WMNF's air studio announcement book, as well as listed on our website's Community Bulletin Board. You can also snail-Mail your event notice at lesat 3 weeks in advance to: PSA @ WMNF 1210 E ML King Blvd. Tampa, FL 33603 or e-mail to : psa@wmnf.org [but that won't get it on the website...]
 
Q:     I have an idea for a radio show. What should I do?
A:     All our on-air program hosts are volunteers, so the first thing you need to do is contact Volunteer Coordinator Carrie Core and ask about volunteering.

Q:      I'm having problems listening online, where do I get help?
A:     Live365 provides wonderful support, (Live 365 Support).
 
Q:     How do I request a song or speak with the DJ?
A:     You can reach the DJ in the studio by email while their show is on the air at dj@wmnf.org, or call 813-239-9663.
 
Q:     I don't have an audio player!
A:     If you don't have an audio player loaded on your computer, you can download a free player from one of these wonderful websites:

Q:      Where's my thank-you gift?
A: Thanks for supporting community radio! If you requested a "thank-you gift" when you called and it's available at the time of your call, it will be mailed within 48 hours. If it is not available right then, please allow up to eight weeks for us to process all the paperwork and get your gift out in the mail.
If you asked for tickets to a concert as a thank-you gift, the tickets will be waiting in your name at the venue's Will Call window. (On occasion the tickets will be mailed to you, but the person you spoke to when you called in your donation would have told you that specifically).
If your gift still has not arrived within eight weeks of the fundraiser, or if you have a problem, please contact Gene Moore at meangene@wmnf.org or call him at 813-238-8001 x133.
 
Q:     How can I become a member?

Events


Q:      How can I get tickets to one of your concerts?
A:     Go to the EVENTS tab and click on Online Tickets on the left hand menu. You can buy online safely and securely with Visa or Mastercard, or from one of our Ticket Outlets. Most of our ticket outlets will only sell tickets by cash or check; call first to ensure that tickets are available.
You can also purchase tickets with a credit card by calling WMNF at 813-238-8001 during business hours.
You can purchase tickets in person at the station with cash, check or credit card.
 
Q:     I heard a great band. You should bring them in concert. Who should I tell?
A:     You can e-mail Program Director Randy Wynne at randy@wmnf.org. or Special Events Coordinator Linda Reisinger, lindalu@wmnf.org.
 
Q:     How do I get to the station?
A:     WMNF is located at 1210 East ML King Jr. Blvd in Tampa. . . north of downtown, just east of Nebraska, off the ML King exit of I-275. Coming from the SOUTH. . . take 275 north. When it splits into I-4, stay on 275 headed toward Ocala. ML King is the first exit after the highway splits. The far right lane will be an exit-only. Get off and take a right. You'll go through one light at Nebraska. The station is a few blocks past that light, on the left - get ready to turn when you see the sign for 12th St. From the NORTH. . . Take 275 South. Get off at ML King, which is the exit after Hillsborough. Take a left. Go through the light at Nebraska. The station is a few blocks past that light, on the left - get ready to turn when you see the sign for 12th St.

A:     Send your CD to the attention of Program Director Randy Wynne at WMNF, 1210 E. ML King Blvd., Tampa, FL 33603. Randy takes music tracking calls on Tuesdays 2-5 pm Eastern time, if you'd like to know how your music is doing on WMNF: 813-238-8001 x16.
 
Q:     Where can I purchase music that I hear on WMNF?
A:     Check our Community Partners webpage for the names of local independent music stores who support the station, and who will do their best to help you locate that special artist or CD. Tell 'em WMNF sent you!
And don't forget that when artists come in to do benefit concerts for WMNF, they almost always bring along their own music to make available for sale at the event.
