Thursday, September 11 2008 -- Presidential Events Series at Eckerd College

The Presidential Events Series at Eckerd College opens this season in Fox Hall with a talk by Dr. Kwame Anthony Appiah, "Global Values vs Cultural Relativism." Dr. Appiah challenges fashionable theories of irreconcilable divides between cultures with a practical and pragmatic worldview of a shared humanity. The presentation starts at 7:30 p.m.
